Hard night....

1 John 3:20- For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

emotions as a girl...are hard....Sometime they come on so strong, so unknown, so confusing. Somtimes they are so painful and so unwanted, other times I sit and dwell in them. After dwelling in anger and pain, I chose to dwell in the Lord.

This is my prayer tonight:
God,
"2 Turn your ear to me,
come quickly to my rescue;
be my rock of refuge,
a strong fortress to save me.

3 Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me.

4 Free me from the trap that is set for me,
for you are my refuge.

5 Into your hands I commit my spirit;
redeem me, O LORD, the God of truth." Psalms 31

God, I am sorry that I run to everything else for my refuge but you. But thank you for being my one true refuge. The one who will hold me when I cry, who knows, understands, created, and loves me as your precious daughter. I give you back my heart, my life, my mind, my emotions....may you use them for your glory, and to glorify yourself. The only place I can be complete is in you, I am sorry I so often forget.

God, YOU are my rock. My fortress, and my refuge. I will keep standing firm, in the LORD and in his mighty power.

Ephesians 6: 10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
